"The Search for the Corpse" is a twisty crime drama series, adapted from S. Spencer's inventive graphic novel. In 1890, 1941, 2023, and 2053, the same corpse is found in Hennessy Lane in East London, and a detective from each era must investigate it. As the connections over the decades become tighter, the detectives soon realize their investigations are interconnected, with a mysterious political leader, Elias Mannis (played by Stephen Graham), becoming increasingly significant. Is he involved in the murder? Or is there something more sinister at play? To unravel this mystery, our four detectives must find a way to collaborate and uncover a conspiracy spanning over 150 years.
