This drama is adapted from a novel of the same name, telling the story of Hagiwara Kazuki (played by Muto Jun), who is troubled by a sexless life with his cohabiting boyfriend; and Hanjou Sei (played by Ito Asahi), who knows it cannot be realized but still lives together with his long-time unrequited love, his childhood friend. One day, a message sent by Kazuki accidentally reaches Sei, and from that day on, they begin a peculiar communication without knowing each other's identities.
