The film "Hot Greetings" is set in a hospice and tells a humorous and touching story about a group of people facing death and preparing for farewell, who form a bizarre band. The film stars FTIsland member Lee Hong-gi, Ma Dong-seok, Park Jin-hee, and Jeon Min-seo. Lee Hong-gi, the lead singer of the extremely popular Asian boy band FTIsland, makes his big screen debut in "Hot Greetings," playing the role of a troubled youth, Jong-ik, who is sent to the hospice for community service due to his troublemaking. The film showcases his acting talent. Additionally, Ma Dong-seok, who portrayed a small-time thug in the film "Neighbors," plays the role of Woo-chung, a former gangster with a brain tumor in "Hot Greetings." Contrary to his rough appearance and extraordinary presence, Woo-chung is a caring drummer who loves music and looks after fellow patients in his ward, with Ma Dong-seok serving as a "boost" to the film's excitement. Rising star Park Jin-hee, who has smoothly transitioned from independent films to prominent roles on both big and small screens, also successfully transforms in "Hot Greetings." She plays Anna, a volunteer who is the bassist and vocalist of the band, showcasing her acting skills honed through numerous projects, including the dramas "High Kick 3: The Short Legs Strike Back" and "Lee Soon-shin is the Best," as well as the film "Festival." In this new film, she debuts as a pure-hearted class leader. The original "screen killer" of the Korean film industry, Lim Won-hee, plays Woo-chung's best friend and devoted father, Bong-sik. Transforming into a band guitarist, Lim Won-hee has previously demonstrated his comedic instincts in films like "The Taste, "I Am King," and is sure to bring even more laughs to the audience in this new film. Child star Jeon Min-seo, who showcased her charming appearance and energetic acting in the drama "Rooftop Prince," plays the optimistic girl Hae-eun. With her incredibly mature emotional acting, she wins the affection of the band members in the film, succeeding the role of Geum-soon from "Miracle in Cell No. 7" and capturing the hearts of fans. "Hot Greetings" tells the story of a miraculous "Phoenix" band composed of an idol singer and terminally ill patients, who prepare for their last performance to create meaningful "two points" in their lives. The film is set to be released in May.
