Six-year-old Xiaohaiyan lives in a seaside town with her father Dayong and mother Jinhua. In Xiaohaiyan's eyes, her father is the best person in the world. However, Dayong has a secret: he was once married and has another daughter whom he has kept hidden from Jinhua while secretly taking care of his ex-wife and daughter.
