The classic thriller film "The Silence of the Lambs" is set to launch a spin-off series. CBS has ordered the script for the new show "Clarice," focusing on Agent Clarice Starling, portrayed by Jodie Foster in the film. The series will take place in 1993, a year after the events of "The Silence of the Lambs," following her return to the field to hunt down serial killers and sex offenders while navigating the high-stakes political landscape of Washington.
