In 1969, in order to become a world-class violinist, high school student Masashi Sano (played by Shota Suda) left his hometown of Nagasaki and moved to Tokyo to pursue his career alone. However, his dream seems distant, leading Masashi to question whether he has any talent for it at all. At school, he is assigned to the notorious 10th class, known for housing problem students. Man Katsuyama (played by Shota Mamiya) serenades the eccentric girl Yoko (played by Aoi Morikawa) with Elvis songs while playing guitar, seemingly unveiling a different kind of joyful youth. Soon after, a letter from his mother encourages Masashi to regain his motivation. Using the cultural festival as a catalyst, he forms a band with Masami Furuta (played by Kanata Hongo), Yasuo Kikuta (played by Yuki Izumisawa), Man Katsuyama, and others, and they seem to have found the source of happiness and direction for moving forward...
