Chaimen Nuan (played by Fumika Shimo) lives in a secluded and remote fishing village, where he is about to marry his beloved Muhe Jinxin (played by Mizuki Yamamoto). Both believe that a happy life awaits them. A man in the village named Nanjou Yukio (played by Tadayoshi Okura) has long been jealous of Chaimen Nuan. He teams up with his envious colleague, Le Qing (played by Hirofumi Arai), and officer Irima Kiyoshi (played by Katsunori Takahashi), and together they conspire to send Chaimen Nuan to prison. Chaimen Nuan spends 15 years in prison, but through a certain opportunity, he escapes and, by chance, acquires a vast wealth, transforming into a wealthy and famous man.
