Tsukiyan (played by Sota Fukushi), a science student who believes only in science, encounters a strange girl on his first day of orientation at a certain university, but he doesn't think much of it. After attending the funeral of his classmate Chisato Oikawa (played by Maku Watanabe), he suddenly sees a guy in a rabbit costume and an old man tugging at each other on his way home at night. To his disbelief, the old man actually walks through a wall and disappears. It turns out the old man is a spirit lingering in the human world, while the pink rabbit is the Grim Reaper (played by Ryohei Suzuki) responsible for guiding spirits to the afterlife. The Grim Reaper is thrilled to discover that Tsukiyan can see him and tries to recruit him as a guide to the underworld. The strange girl he met during orientation is actually his senior guide, Yukino Akuma (played by Taoka Tsuchiya). The awkward partnership begins their job in a half-hearted manner...
