In the Cangyun Realm, the conflict between immortals and demons is ongoing. Xu Changqing hails from the Qinglian Sword Valley and dreams of becoming a sword immortal. However, his good fortune is short-lived as the Ninth Demon General from the Cangyue Palace invades the Qinglian Sword Valley, leading to the sacrifice of Xu Changqing's grandfather. Xu Changqing gains the recognition of the "Qinglian Imperial Sword" and, despite his efforts, is unable to defeat the Ninth Demon General. Later, the Kunlun Taibai Sword Immortal Qiu Wuya arrives, driving back the demon faction and bringing Xu Changqing and Mu Zixun to Kunlun.
