The interview continues in the second season. In 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (played by Jacob Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (played by Eric Bogosian). After conspiring to kill the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Sam Reid) in 1940, Louis and the novice vampire girl Claudia (played by Delainey Hayles) embark on an adventure across Europe, exploring old-world vampires and vampire theaters in Paris. It is in Paris that Louis first encounters the vampire Armand (played by Assad Zaman). Their courtship and sexual relationship prove to have devastating consequences in both the past and the future, as Molloy seeks to uncover the truth buried in memory.
