In 2009, a young girl named Sakazaki Sakura (played by Kyoko Yoshine) is brutally murdered, an event that plunges her sister Reina (played by Keiko Kitagawa) into despair. Before the incident, Sakura had secretly moved to a relative's house to escape the harassment of a stalker. However, a corrupt detective, hired by the stalker, discovers the girl's location, leading to a bloody tragedy. To track down the detective known as "The Grim Reaper," Reina seeks training under Suma Yasunori (played by Arata Iura), who, for certain reasons, not only agrees to her request but also establishes a "Counter Detective Course" specifically for her. During the investigation of a particular case, Reina encounters the sinister and well-known detective Abiru (played by Yusuke Nakayama), who seems to be closely related to her sister's murder.
