The drama is based on the novel of the same name by popular mystery novelist Kanae Minato. Ryuhei Matsuda plays a 32-year-old salaryman, Shinnase, who graduated from a prestigious university and lives an ordinary life. Erika Toda plays Shinnase's girlfriend, Mihoko, and the two meet and fall in love in a coffee shop. The story begins when Mihoko receives an anonymous letter stating "Shinnase killed someone," gradually unraveling the truth behind the "accident" and "incident" related to the death of Shinnase's close friend, Hirozawa, from ten years ago, in a suspense drama centered on friendship and redemption.
