In the twelfth year of Tianbao, the handsome young man Kong Hongjun, naive to the ways of the world, leaves the Yaokong Palace on the Taihang Mountain with three important missions and arrives in the vibrant and prosperous Chang’an. Upon entering the Tang Dynasty Demon Suppression Office, his immediate superior turns out to be Li Jinglong, a general of the Longwu Army with whom he had a recent encounter.
