This film spans half a century, providing a true and profound account of Mother Teresa's unwavering faith in God and her spirit of dedication. It highlights the brilliance of human goodness, transcending national borders and barriers, bringing hope and dignity to millions of impoverished and suffering people. She compassionately cared for the destitute, making them feel that someone cared. She comforted the hearts of the suffering, promoting the highest spirit of faith, hope, and love, silently dedicating herself to abandoned infants, lepers, and those poorer than the poor, working tirelessly for them. Mother Teresa's life story: Born on August 26, 1910, in Yugoslavia, of Albanian descent. In 1928, she was assigned to the Loreto convent in Kolkata, India. In 1948, deeply moved by the plight of the poor in India, she left the convent to serve and save lives. In 1950, with special permission from the Pope, she founded the Missionaries of Charity. In June 1997, she received the Congressional Gold Medal from the U.S. government in Washington. She passed away from heart disease on September 5, 1997, in Kolkata, at the age of 87.
