The failure of the raccoon operation leads Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) to decide to go deep into the Himalayas for meditation, training himself to avoid situations like the raccoon incident. Time flies, and one day Ace suddenly receives an invitation. The sacred object of the African Wachatati tribe—a large white bat—has gone missing. They hope Ace will come out of retirement to help them find the bat. As soon as he steps onto the African continent, Ace begins his investigation. First, he suspects the wildlife park director, but he cannot find any evidence, so he has to give up. Next, he suspects that the tribal shaman has stolen it, but he has no leads. During his comical investigation, Ace discovers that the white bat is actually in the hands of two poachers, and the mastermind behind it is the ambassador. It turns out that, in order to monopolize the rare resource of bat guano, he is willing to incite conflicts between tribes to profit from it. In the end, with the help of the animals, Ace successfully returns the white bat to its rightful place.
