"The Story of the Police Station" tells the stories from an ordinary community police station. Although the narrative has shifted from the cooking class to the police station, the core personalities of the six protagonists remain fundamentally unchanged, each simply gaining an additional skill. Director Hong Jian Tao plays Director Hong, who is quiet yet adept at "uniting" the community; Officer Fan, played by Fan Ming, is eager to be the director. Xu, a Ph.D. in medicine and an emerging writer, has a strong adaptability to unfamiliar stories and excellent comedic processing abilities. "The Story of the Police Station" is a standard TV drama featuring main melody themes and a light comedy style, directed personally by Hong Jian Tao, who played "Class Leader Hong" in "The Cooking Class." This drama does not focus on major cases or crimes but reflects the police's role in serving the community through the trivial lives of residents.
