The Central Committee's Southern Bureau dispatched Wang Wenyuan to the battlefields of Western Hunan, where he successfully infiltrated the core intelligence department of the Japanese army, stole operational plans, and discovered their conspiracy to assassinate senior Chinese military leaders. To thwart the Japanese plot, Wang Wenyuan set off alone for Chongqing and engaged in a life-and-death struggle with Japanese agent Pota Jiuxiong, ultimately achieving great military accomplishments. However, after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the Kuomintang instigated a civil war, leading to turmoil in the country. Kuomintang officer Song Yongzheng was sent to Guizhou, where he initiated sabotage activities. Wang Wenyuan sensed his plot and confronted him, successfully foiling Song Yongzheng's conspiracy. Unwilling to accept defeat, Song Yongzheng gathered a band of mountain bandits to wreak havoc in an attempt to launch a counterattack. To completely eradicate the bandits and ensure national liberation, Wang Wenyuan led his troops into the mountains to hunt down the bandits, engaging in a fierce battle with Song Yongzheng. The story emphasizes the fighting spirit of the Chinese people during the civil war, the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, and the resolute strike against domestic enemies. Wang Wenyuan's heroic actions represent the spirit of the Chinese Communist Party's struggle for national liberation and the happiness of the people, while also reflecting the political struggles and military confrontations of that era.
