The 19-episode TV series "Witness" tells the story of a renowned lawyer, Jiang Ping, and her husband, Ji Wei, who is about to be promoted to the Secretary-General of the municipal government. After drinking, they hit a young girl, Xiao Xiao, while driving and flee the scene. However, there are witnesses to the incident: Ji Wei's assistant, Qu Fan, and photographer Zhao Danian.
