In 2022, young speed skater Yan Yang (played by Ou Hao) is about to represent the Chinese team in the World Youth Championship. Holding the red ice skates once worn by his father Yan Zhenhua, he is flooded with memories. This is not only a commitment to ice and snow sports but also the continuation of the Yan family's three generations' unbreakable bond with ice and snow. Back in 1980, a young Yan Zhenhua began practicing ice skating under the guidance of his father Yan Yiguo and became a figure skating partner with a girl from Harbin, Li Binghe. Despite the harsh reality of competition and the changes of the times, Yan Zhenhua and Li Binghe supported each other but eventually drifted apart. As Yan Zhenhua's son Yan Yang grows up, the story of the Yan family's relationship with ice and snow sports opens a new chapter. In 2019, despite Yan Zhenhua's opposition, Yan Yang decides to join the short track speed skating training camp, but due to insufficient skills, he becomes a sparring partner for female athlete Jin Ying. Under the guidance of champion coach Chen Jin, Yan Yang makes a successful comeback and, motivated by each other, he and Jin Ying finally step onto the world youth championship stage together. This story is not just about Yan Yang's personal growth and struggles but also the emotional bond and inheritance among the Yan family's three generations, showcasing their resilience, perseverance, and fighting spirit in ice and snow sports.
