Customs inspector Hao Hui (played by Wang Xi) is stationed at the airport, where he successfully uncovers a significant case involving smuggling drugs through human carriers during an operation, earning him great praise. Meanwhile, another team from the Customs Investigation Bureau fails in their attempt to apprehend a smuggling group, and their leader, Inspector Li, is injured and hospitalized. As a result, the higher-ups assign the outstanding Hao Hui to lead this team. Upon taking office, Sha Zhan Ye Tianhua (played by Ouyang Zhenhua) expresses his discontent with Hao Hui's methods, but Hao Hui remains unaffected and continues to follow his own approach. One day, customs receives a tip-off that the leader of the smuggling group, Jiang Shiren, is preparing to flee the country. Hao Hui leads a team to apprehend him. Using his wit, Hao Hui successfully subdues Jiang Shiren, and Tianhua seizes the opportunity to beat him up.
