Adapted from Su Mo's novel "The Twelve Night Blossoms of Agarwood." Yan Dan (played by Yang Zi) is from an ancient lineage - the Four-Leaf Lotus, whose body is a treasure of medicinal properties. Due to transforming into a human a century early with her twin sister Zhi Xi at the Queen Mother’s banquet, she encounters the greatest disaster of her life - the disaster of love. She wants to exchange half of her heart for the true feelings of Ying Yuan Jun (played by Cheng Yi), but unexpectedly, she has to forget him for eight hundred years in her prime. A remnant of an ancient nine-finned fish, used to Yan Dan’s story, integrates itself into her story. To find Yan Dan, Yu Mo, the master of Yu Mo Mountain, abandons his immortality to become a demon, thus becoming a powerful support for Yan Dan to begin her new life.
