The story takes place in Shanghai during the early days of the War of Resistance. The Japanese army uses a radio positioning vehicle to dismantle the underground intelligence network of the Communist Party. The superiors send Li Xia (played by Zhao Lixin) and He Lanfeng (played by Jiao Junyan) to secretly meet with the remaining members of the intelligence station, Jin Da (played by Wang Guojing) and Bai Liyao (played by Liu Ying), using fake telegrams to lure in an internal traitor.
