It tells the story of 1946, after Taiwan's recovery, at a dock in Hainan, where Lin Zhixiong, a Taiwanese laborer who was abducted by the Japanese army to work in Hainan, finally boards the Taiwanese ship "Anxiang" with his pregnant wife, A Qing, to return home.
