Due to the drunk driving case of bank credit officer Qin Hui, deputy chief of the criminal investigation team Li Wenhai, under instructions from superiors, goes to Nanjing City to investigate. During this process, he discovers evidence pointing directly at the head of the criminal investigation team, Zheng Dawei. Caught between brotherhood and truth, Li Wenhai chooses to continue the investigation. As the investigation deepens, Li Wenhai finds secret connections between Zheng Dawei, Qin Hui, and the recently deceased Manager Zhang from Tianhai Group.
