Sisters Ling Ruofeng and Ling Ruoyu became orphaned martyrs after their parents were ambushed by a criminal group during a customs smuggling operation. Ten years later, when the sisters visit the cemetery to pay their respects, they are astonished to find a bouquet of blue calla lilies that they have never seen before! After the appearance of these strangely colored calla lilies, the sisters' peaceful lives are disrupted, plunging them into a mysterious whirlpool. Ling Ruofeng's welfare institution suddenly experiences incident number 2, with infants dying one after another. As an intestinal infection, the welfare institution rules out food poisoning, and experts cannot identify the source of infection or control the outbreak; meanwhile, as the chief inspector of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Ling Ruoyu faces the rapid shrinkage of the state capital managed by her subordinate, the Chawais Group, with its pillar industries collapsing one after another. The cholera outbreak in the welfare institution is caused by contaminated bedding for infants. This polluted cotton, which caused the disaster, turns out to have been donated by the Chawais Group! Ling Ruoyu partners with her boyfriend, Industrial and Commercial Inspection Team Leader Han Dawei, in an effort to investigate the contaminated cotton and uncover the mystery of how all the Chawais brand products were counterfeited, leading to the company's bankruptcy and the shrinkage of state capital. However, a series of bizarre incidents follow one after another. Wei Jiamin, the owner of the contaminated cotton, receives a warning call and escapes through the window, while the inspection team members who come to question him unexpectedly encounter killers posing as police officers. Han Dawei and Ling Ruoyu nearly have their heads blown off, still in the dark about the situation. Private entrepreneur Liu Yunfei markets counterfeit cotton and receives lenient treatment from Vice Captain Zhou Tianyu, who is supposed to hold her accountable, just for a few casual words. Chawais's logistics minister Jia Zhiguang is involved in a bribery case of 1.2 million; when the industrial and commercial department intends to file for an investigation, General Manager Zhao Yonghong urges Jia Zhiguang to confess in advance by promising to allow his son to make 800,000 USD, thus taking all the responsibility. Master criminal Wei Jiamin is captured in another location but is unexpectedly shot dead during transportation! The investigation into the contaminated cotton thus falters, with the Chawais Group compensating the welfare institution 1.6 million RMB, and the matter ends there. Zhou Tianyu's urgent attempt to demand Wei Jiamin's account book raises Ling Ruoyu's suspicions about this brother-in-law. Being tenacious by nature, she finally finds clues in the crease of the account book: Chawais is involved with the deceased, purchasing and dumping counterfeit goods at low prices. However, leaders at headquarters like Huashan and Zhao Yonghong use the industrial and commercial inspection, personally supervised by Zhou Tianyu, as proof of their innocence. The Chawais quilt factory encounters misfortune again; Daewoo of South Korea severs the purchase contract unconditionally due to incident number 2, leading to massive inventory buildup for the quilt factory, teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, which is contracted to private entrepreneur Liu Yunfei. Frantic, Ling Ruoyu realizes, under the prompting of Party Secretary Zheng Ling, that the main reason for Chawais's shrinking state capital is that illegal businessmen counterfeited its brand, squeezing the market, which caused the production and sales of Chawais's brand to stagnate and gradually collapse. Therefore, Ling Ruoyu decides to serve as a legal advisor for the Chawais enterprise's anti-counterfeiting team in her capacity as a public lawyer, joining forces with industry and commerce, public security, and inspection agencies to "fight against counterfeiting." This move brings a storm of troubles…
