There is a border control station called Jiangqiao Border Inspection Station of the Yunnan Public Security Frontier Corps, which was awarded the title of "Drug Control Pioneer Station" by the State Council and the Central Military Commission. Due to its proximity to the Golden Triangle, one of the world’s three major drug sources, it has become a transit point for foreign drugs entering the domestic market.
