The warm sunlight shines upon a sea of vibrant green, a never-ending grove of mulberry trees. In the paradise of Jinxiu Village, everyone lives in prosperity, all thanks to the renowned silk of "Yongtaixiang," famous across the nation and celebrated in Northeast China. The people here are energetic and hardworking every day because they must eat the unique "Magu Rice Noodles" of Jinxiu Village. The stall for "Magu Rice Noodles" is managed by the graceful yet strong-willed Magu, who has her own style. The staff at "Yongtaixiang" feels they cannot work without having Magu Rice Noodles even for a day. However, the owner of "Yongtaixiang," Chen Jian, is the only person who has been rejected by Magu, due to their past. Twenty years ago, when Magu served as a maid in the Chen household, she fell in love with Chen Jian, and their relationship progressed towards marriage. However, they were thwarted by the matriarch, who fabricated accusations of Magu having an affair with the flower prince. Shockingly, Chen Jian did not believe Magu and expelled her from the Chen house. Heartbroken, Magu joined the Bingyu Hall, a place where many women live their lives single. Magu even opened her own noodle stall, and over the past twenty years, her love for Chen Jian turned into hatred. While waiting for her son, Magu witnesses the bittersweet love story of Sangzhi and the wealthy family heir Jiaobao, a tale of love across social classes, and the transformation of a petty thief, Henry, turning enemies into friends, eventually developing feelings for one another. Later, Fugui discovers that Magu opened the noodle stall to wait for her son, who is actually the biological child of Chen Jian. To reconcile his adoptive father with Magu, Fugui decides to search for her son. Fugui discovers that he is not actually Magu's biological son, but to avoid disappointing her, he keeps this secret to himself. Yihua, however, acts first and frames Fugui, landing him in prison. Magu goes to great lengths to save her beloved son, during which she reconciles with Chen Jian. By fate, Magu learns the secret that Fugui is not her biological son, and her real son is already a young commander. Just when everyone thought the clouds had cleared, Yihua colludes with outsiders, attempting to steal the secret of the tribute fabric to create bulletproof vests.
