Dong Jiayin and Xia Mingtao have been married for three years without having children. Dong Jiayin is the producer of a social news program at a TV station, while Xia Mingtao is the chief physician at a maternity hospital. Both are in a period of career growth, leaving them no time to consider having children. In a rush to hold her grandchild, Xia Mingtao's mother comes from their hometown to personally supervise the couple in having a baby.
