This drama unfolds through the strong setup of "soul swapping," telling the story of rookie theater director Nie Wei (played by Cui Yuxin) and his girlfriend Yueyue (played by Hong Yike) as they face various challenges and trials when transitioning from campus to society. One year after graduation, Nie Wei has been unable to land any roles, experiencing a huge psychological gap from being a star senior to a delivery guy, which severely impacts his confidence and leads to his breakup with Yueyue. At this low point, he sees a tech company recruiting product testers with a huge cash prize, and in order to gather enough money for the theater rent, Nie Wei signs the contract on the spot, resulting in a soul swap with his ex-girlfriend Yueyue.
