This is a blue youth story about boys and girls on the beach. A columnist for an online magazine, Shen Muxin, believes in the existence of mermaids after being saved from drowning by one. She gets into an argument with an archaeology professor and vows to find evidence of mermaids. To trace their whereabouts, she returns to her hometown, Xingyue Bay, and joins the resort's lifeguard team. There, she meets An Xida, who left the sports arena to become a lifeguard, and inadvertently discovers that An Xida has a mermaid totem. In her quest to prove that An Xida is a mermaid, Shen Muxin employs various methods to reveal him, leading to numerous funny incidents.
