Zhang Fugui (played by Zhang Zhilin) is a rich young master born with a silver spoon, who has never experienced hardship in his life. He is cheerful and smooth-talking, enjoying great popularity among the villagers due to his eloquence. He Xiaochun (played by Yuan Yongyi) is Zhang Fugui's childhood companion, who loves him wholeheartedly.
