"Spy Wars in Gushan Pond" is a legendary story set against a real historical backdrop. Therefore, Dai Li ordered Mei Ling, the leader of the "Huqiu Operation" team, to seize the spy network first and eliminate Fu Yifei. In a critical moment, Huang Zhixin, a past lover of Mei Ling and now Fu Yifei's superior in the Communist Party, stood up to reason with Mei Ling emotionally and fought to the death when Mei Ling and Yan Linfeng were surrounded by Japanese and puppet spies.
