This drama recounts the glorious deeds of Zuo Quan during the Anti-Japanese War. The Red First Army, like a raging tide, attacks the Ma family army in the west. Zuo Quan orders the capture of Quzi Town before nightfall, and the Red Army soldiers successfully capture Ye Chengzhang. Zuo Quan appeals to Ye Chengzhang’s sense of national responsibility, and Ye Chengzhang vows to no longer be an enemy of the Red Army.
