Snow Girl returns to her hometown with her parents but is robbed by mountain bandits, including Xia Sanhu and Xu Jun. Her parents are brutally killed, but she survives and is rescued by Fan Jin, and they become husband and wife. On the day their son Tianxiang turns one month old, Xia Sanhu kidnaps the child, and Fan Jin abandons Snow Girl. Xia Sanhu is captured after being betrayed by Xu Jun and Liu Yinqing, and Snow Girl manages to retrieve her son and goes to Cangzhou to find her relatives. At the same time, Fan Jin marries Liu Yinqing. In the Fan residence, Snow Girl discovers Liu Yinqing's affair with Xu Jun and narrowly escapes death, thanks to the rescued Xia Sanhu seeking revenge. Snow Girl is falsely accused by Liu Yinqing and sentenced to exile, while Tianxiang is sold to a brothel. Fan Jin is schemed against by Liu Yinqing and Xu Jun, losing his family fortune and regretting his actions. He searches the world for his wife and son, collapses on the street, and is saved by Madame Qian. She uses all her cunning to win over Fan Jin, colluding with Xu Jun to frame Snow Girl as a murderer, leading to Snow Girl’s death sentence. In order to save Snow Girl, Fan Jin agrees to marry Madame Qian. Liu Yinqing is moved by Snow Girl and finds evidence of Xu Jun's crime against the imperial envoy, but she is silenced by Xu Jun. Before Liu Yinqing dies, she hides a blood letter in a tree hole. Snow Girl finds the blood letter while paying respects and coincidentally encounters the emperor on a tour. After several twists and turns, Sanhu delivers the evidence to the emperor, resulting in Xu Jun being dismissed from office and escorted to the capital. Along the way, Xu Jun is ultimately moved by Snow Girl's compassion and undergoes a change of heart.
