In the small southern town of Songzhuang. Zhou Mingyuan from Beijing accidentally knocks over a girl in the heavy rain, and her name is Ouyang Ling; this is their first encounter. Ouyang Ling is about to get married, but she feels anxious. Her fiancé in this small town is a rare gem, yet she is still unwilling and seems to be waiting for something. So, she goes to Chongwen Island. A typhoon hits, and she is stranded there. Just then, Zhou Mingyuan, who has just secured the Songzhuang Bridge project, arrives at Chongwen Island to pay his respects.
