A 1985 French fantasy drama film by Jean-Luc Godard. Godard's reinterpretation of a biblical story: Mary’s pregnancy is transported to the 1980s. Mary is a student who loves basketball and helps her father at the gas station in her spare time; her boyfriend Joseph is a taxi driver. An angel arrives on a jet to tell her that she will conceive Jesus. Her pregnancy brings great confusion to both of them.
