On the first anniversary of the death of master painter Amada Bunzai, relevant organizations planned to publish the complete works of Amada, and unexpectedly discovered an unpublished manuscript. This manuscript tells a horrifying story about a manga artist who, in search of creative inspiration, goes so far as to kill young women. What worries those involved is that the story bears a striking resemblance to the methods of a serial murder case that has remained unsolved for 35 years. In order to investigate the truth behind the manuscript, copyright investigator Mizuno Yuki (played by Nao Matsushita) accepts a commission to take action and finds the struggling genius manga writer Daigo Shinji (played by Shinta Furuta) to help authenticate the manuscript. Daigo, who is extremely knowledgeable about the industry, immediately asserts that the manuscript is definitely not by Amada, and he cannot forgive anyone for using Amada's art style to commit such heinous acts. Therefore, he actively works with Mizuno to search for the potential still-at-large true culprit... This film is adapted from the novel "Daigo Shinji’s Curious Incident File" by Nagasaki Naoshi.
