An ordinary girl, Momoko Sugisaki (played by Misako Renbutsu), has been underestimated by her mother, Fumiko (played by Atsuko Asano), since childhood, which has led to her inability to smile naturally. After entering society, she first worked at a kindergarten, but a year later, she was fired. Then she applied for a position at a medical institution called Little Snow, which specializes in at-home care for sick children. In today's society, parents who work or single parents cannot spare the time to care for sick children at home, leading to the emergence of such daycare facilities. Although one of the operators, Masaru Yanagisumi (played by Naohito Fujiki), is very skeptical of this girl who cannot even smile, his collaborator, Haruharu Asabina (played by Kentaro Narumi), insists on hiring Momoko. After some training, Momoko finally starts working independently. Not only does she face children with various physical and mental issues, but also seemingly unconcerned adults. How will Momoko navigate these challenges? This film is adapted from the manga of the same name.
