Iwaya (played by法子入山) is a journalist whose meticulous logic and efficient style earn her the trust of her superiors, making her a true career woman. However, her overly rigid and humorless personality often leads to misunderstandings and even ostracism from her colleagues and friends. One day, after a conflict with her boss, Iwaya is transferred to the unpopular lifestyle information department. At the same time, she discovers that her long-term boyfriend has been unfaithful, and both her love life and career hit rock bottom. One day, Iwaya finds a large cardboard box at her doorstep, and inside it sleeps a man. She brings him home and learns that his name is Takeshi Gōda (played by Jun Shison).
