"Nightmare Factory" (also known as "Dream Nightmare Record") is an 8-episode miniseries based on the short works of renowned thriller novelist Stephen King, who also serves as the screenwriter. In "Battlefield," a professional assassin is hired to kill the CEO of a toy company, but faces resistance from toy soldiers. In "The Tail-End Zone," an American couple on their honeymoon in the UK encounters mysterious events in the enigmatic Tail-End Zone. In "Youni's Last Case," a flirtatious detective unexpectedly discovers he is a character created by a writer, and even swaps identities with the writer. "Chaos Conclusion" follows a director who, while looking into the camera, learns about the circumstances surrounding his genius brother's death. In "Virus Spreads North," a horror novelist acquires a painting that begins to reflect reality and continuously changes. In "The Fifth Moment," two factions attempt to extract the location of Willy's hidden wealth, but he has devised an intricate scam.
