Seven men and women are in a tea room of a luxury hotel. Freelance writer Nakajo Saeko sits next to photographer Sera Haruto, while company employee Yuuki Osamu is being interviewed. Playing the piano is Osamu's lover, Tamaki Midori. The couple Mizunozuki Runa and Satou Reimon, who are of different ages, are observed from the second-floor lobby by the protagonist, Yuuki Airisa (played by Kurashina Kana). Ailisa and Saeko are college friends from the same year. Since their student days, Ailisa has been concerned about Saeko's romantic interests. She is indifferent to her husband Osamu's affair. Saeko cannot forget her past experiences and believes she is destined to be alone regarding love and marriage, but gradually becomes attracted to the younger and straightforward Sera.
