"Sam Bamboo" is based on a true story, telling the tale of seven students in their teenage years who, in their attempt to escape the rural area of Sam Bamboo, resort to breaking the law by using drugs. Their teacher did not give up on them; instead, they taught them and provided opportunities for them to prove their worth and the meaning of their lives. ---------------------------------------------- In the midst of the rampant drug problem affecting every corner of the country, including small communities like Sam Chuk, seven students who are in the bright and fun stage of their lives are facing problems they cannot find a way out of. With their lack of knowledge, they are falling into hell as they get deeply involved in the cycle of drugs. Society condemns these lost children, but an ordinary teacher dares to stand up and declare to the society that the seven children are merely victims of societal decay. This teacher fights alongside them and tries to understand the issues each child faces, believing that they can help the seven students rise up again. This is a reflection of the true story in a small corner of Thai society, of a teacher and seven students who ignite a movement within the community to seriously combat the drug problem, as its harm is immense. It not only causes suffering to the users but also leads to severe criminal activities.
