In 1969, in order to become a top violinist, high school student Masashi Sano (played by Shota Suda) leaves his hometown of Nagasaki and goes to Tokyo to pursue his dreams alone. However, with his dreams feeling increasingly distant, Masashi begins to doubt whether he has any talent for it at all. In school, he is placed in the infamous Class 2-10, which is known for housing problem students. Kashiwayama Minoru (played by Shoutaro Mamiya), who sings Elvis songs while playing guitar, pursues the unconventional girl Yoko (played by Aoi Morikawa), seemingly unveiling a different kind of joyful youth. Soon after, a letter from his mother helps Masashi regain his spirits. After the cultural festival, he forms a band with Masami Furuta (played by Kanata Hongou), Yasuaki Kikuta (played by Yuki Izumisawa), and Kashiwayama Minoru, and together they seem to have found the source of their happiness and a direction to move forward… This film is adapted from the autobiography of singer Masashi Sano.
