This film is adapted from the popular series "Global Advertising Company" by Naoki Prize-winning author Hiroshi Ogiwara, specifically the "Sakura Street" segment. It is a brand new upgraded television version following the highly acclaimed 2016 SP "The Useless Father Becomes a Hero." The creative team remains unchanged, with the script still written by Kei Hori, known for the morning drama "Chick," and the lead role continues to be played by Kazuki Sawamura. This also marks Sawamura's first time starring in a Tokyo Broadcasting System drama series, allowing him to dominate the lead roles across the five major TV stations in Tokyo. The story revolves around advertising elite Toshifumi Sugiyama (Kazuki Sawamura), who previously worked at a major advertising company and was highly regarded. Just when life was smooth sailing, he decided to leave the company to pursue independence. After failing and going through various hardships, he ends up being taken in by the small "Global Advertising Company" in a deserted port town. Although he has never voiced it, he deeply loves the advertising industry. Inside the company, there is manager Erika Inokuma (Nana Katase), a beautiful but cold and unapproachable woman who seems terrifying and is not well-received by men, yet she perfectly completes her work. However, the cost of her clothing far exceeds her salary, leading to rumors that she is running a side business. Rokuro Murazaki (Jun Masuda) is a designer and a genius at talking disparagingly about others, although his actual abilities do not match his eloquence. He harbors jealousy toward Sugiyama, a top advertising expert, and often clashes with him. He lives in a camper van, appearing to enjoy a leisurely single life, but in reality, he feels lonely. Kenichiro Ishii (Yuji Miyake) is the company president who met Sugiyama at a bar and took him in. While he loves advertising, he lacks the instincts and talent for it, so he looks forward to Sugiyama's performance. He has a terrifying wife and daughter, which makes him prefer staying at the company rather than being at home. In the shopping district, there is a café called "Je Reviens" run by the charming Sakura Fujisawa (Eimi Waku), who is eager to work but struggles with a lack of customers. As the shopping district becomes increasingly desolate, she feels despair about the future as a single woman and constantly thinks about needing to find a solution. Her father, Hiroshi Fujisawa (DENDEN), dislikes being busy and finds even a few customers troublesome. Although the café's quality is high, the prices are expensive, and he has a strong aversion to advertising agencies. In the deserted shopping district of the port town, can the appearance of Sugiyama revive the ailing Global Advertising Company and the town itself?
