Hanhira (Ryo Nishikido) is forced to commit suicide but unexpectedly travels to modern times. After experiencing a series of disastrous events, Hanhira meets the kind old man, Masato Saeki (Rio Morimoto). Saeki runs a tutoring center, and not only does he take in the homeless Hanhira, but he also appoints him as a temporary teacher at the center. Hanhira's true identity is met with skepticism and vigilance from Saeki's granddaughter, Haruka (Manami Higa). Later, Hanhira encounters Ryoma Sakamoto (Ryunosuke Kamiki), who had also traveled to modern times before him, and together they search for a way to return to the past. Over time, a deep bond develops between Hanhira and the Saeki family. Utilizing his battlefield experience, Hanhira resolves various problems around him and earns the love and trust of the children.
