45-year-old Kamon Yuki (played by Yuki Amami) works at a library. With her flowing long hair, stunning beauty, and extensive knowledge, she is considered the "ideal woman" in the eyes of many men. However, Yuki seems to disdain such evaluations, maintaining a kind and perfect smile in her daily life while harboring a sharp tongue that criticizes the injustices and peculiarities around her. Always single, she is uninterested in love and believes that a life accompanied by books is the most ideal. One day, she unexpectedly reunites with her college lover, Yamamura Chōji (played by Kazuki Sawamura). Chōji's sudden departure years ago left Yuki deeply hurt. Upon inquiry, she learns that Chōji prefers the male gender.
