39-year-old Kiyomi Tachibana (played by Mikiki Nakaya) is a successful woman running her own beauty clinic. However, in stark contrast to her thriving career, her love life remains barren, never blossoming. One day, while dining at a restaurant with her friends, the three women chat and gossip, completely ignoring the manager Seiji Tokura's (played by Naoto Fujiki) advice on dining etiquette, which leads to them being scolded and thrown out. Shortly after, Kiyomi reunites with Yosuke Sakurai (played by Yoshimi Tokui), a boy she deeply liked back in school. While she hopes to rekindle their romance, she is met with polite rejection from Yosuke. Eventually, she learns from the blunt Tokura the reason for her failure.
