The story takes place in England in 1933, where the famous detective Poirot (played by John Malkovich) receives an anonymous letter predicting three murders and providing clues. Although Poirot reports it to the police, they do not take the letter seriously. As expected, two victims whose names start with "A" and "B" are murdered in the manner described in the letter. Poirot realizes he must race against time to save the only survivor whose name starts with "C." Subsequently, Poirot receives several more similar anonymous letters, but as he begins to investigate the truth behind these events, he faces numerous obstacles, with only Detective Cromwell (played by Rupert Grint) standing firmly by Poirot's side.
