This drama tells the story of Riko Komukai, a dispatch worker in Tokyo, caught between her capable elder sister and free-spirited younger sister, as the average second daughter of the Komukai family. Marked by the death of their grandfather, the three Komukai sisters gather together after four years, finally reuniting the family. While sorting through her grandfather’s belongings, Riko discovers an unfinished plastic model and meets Masa at the "Yajima Model Shop," which her grandfather frequently visited. Under his guidance, she begins to try her hand at plastic modeling. Through plastic models, Riko gains some understanding of her grandfather and family, deciding to stay in her hometown during the summer to fulfill her grandfather's regrets.
