Oscar winner Alejandro Amenábar's directorial debut in television, "#Fortune# La Fortuna," has announced its cast, with shooting expected to begin this summer and airing in 2021. The six-episode series will star Stanley Tucci, Álvaro Mel, and Ana Polvorosa from "Cable Girls." The series is produced by AMC and Spanish pay TV channel Movistar, and is adapted from Guillermo Corral's graphic novel "El Tesoro del Cisne Negro." The story focuses on young diplomat Alex Ventura, who collaborates with a combative civil servant and a clever American lawyer to find historical artifacts stolen from the sea by Frank Wild during his travels around the world.
